Three Days to go

It's Thursday and preparations are almost done. The bags are almost all packed. Paperwork is being checked and double checked. Making sure our bagage will be within limits. Just wanted to test the ability to post some pictures since that's one of the main ideas of the blog.

We just found out that our borther dan will try and meet us in Philly for the four hour layover on Sunday. Sure hope he can make it although I'll have to put up with two Cons so maybe we'll just avoid politics.
Anyway, let's try a picture or two from my work computer

Sweeeeet it worked!!

EURO - HERO

A big thank you to our sister Theresa who was kind enough to send us about 200 euros so we would have some walking around money when we first arrived. That way we don;t need to hit the banks when we arrive.
All we need to dois send her the Euros back when we're home so she'll have them the next time she jets off to Europe

A good deal all around

Thanks Sis

The Blog begins - 30 days and counting

Well, Larry and I are less than a month away from the start our much anticipated and once delayed trip to Ireland  (the Old Sod). We already have a hotel in Dublin on the arrival date so I spent Sunday looking at possible B&B's for the 2nd night. Right now we plan to head to the Northwest part of the island near Sligo.
The rest of the trip will just be a slow counter-clockwise route eventually winding up back in Dublin.

Watch here for more updates, photos, and drinking tips
